Hey Multiverse Crew-
It's the spookiest season of all in the US: election season! Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men and the majority of white women? Only time will tell. I'm not going to use keywords in my email because there's all kinds of filters on right now but you know who I'm for I hope it is glaringly obvious. All the timelines are difficult, but some of them are much darker and scarier than others. Keep hope alive, and try to take care of each other. We at the Multiverse have plans in the works either way things go. We'll keep you posted.
To distract you while everything happens, this week in AI Coffee / Intro to AI, we're literally actually making a musical as a class with AI. Join here even if you're not a gay theater kid or at least don't realize you are one yet.
In good news, we have new options for pricing to join us, down to $25/weekly. Let me know if this is clear? I'm trying to make stuff more accessible. We also have an option where you get access to all curriculum at a much lower rate than the current membership options, aimed at autodidacts who want a community but don't need to come to classes.
AI Alignment has a lot of purchases but not a lot of attendance, partly because I screwed up the dates due to the chaos that some of you have heard me talking about. I'm making it a community class, with attendance open to any member at any membership level, even if you're just joining us for a few sessions. It's on break for a week, then we'll restart it on the original days (Mondays and Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays and Thursdays).
Prompt Engineering starts Tuesday, November 19 now, instead of the week after next. There's still time to join in on the last Prompt Engineering of the year! It's a pretty long one, 12 sessions, so get ready to to deep. I also pushed it out a week to give myself time to add some new content from the last few months.
This week we found out just how many roboticists we have around here- the answer is, a lot, at least 20 people have crawled out of the woodwork to help us in our mission to make cool robots that are comrades in the revolution. FULLY AUTOMATED LUXURY GAY SPACE COMMUN... LOOK WE ARE NOT ADVOCATING A SPECIFIC SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE I THINK WE SHOULD JUST WORK ON SOLVING HUMAN NEEDS AS A TEAM HERE AND THEN NEW FORMS OF SOCIETY WILL HAVE TO EMERGE AS THINGS PROGRESS BUT LET'S NOT TIE OURSELVES TO ONE GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE HERE I DON'T KNOW AM I OVERTHINKING THIS WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK-ISM. We hammered out some cool stuff and ideas this week is all I'm saying.
Also, we may have come into some incredible luck regarding the robotics program, I am thrilled to reveal the insane details of it next week. Every week some crazier shit happens y'all. Every week I'm like "is this real, is what is happening in my life really happening or am I delusional" and then everyone else around me says the same thing and I'm like "at least I feel like I'm not alone here in the awe and disbelief though I wouldn't go so far as to not call it a form of delusion" Maybe we're all delusional.
