Multiverse School Newsletter - 04/21
🚀 4/21/24 Multiverse School Weekly Newsletter 🚀
Hey Multiverse Crew,
This week I played so many video games, omg. I also got a swarm compute server up so that we can share our compute resources for Prompt Engineering classes, so I was a little productive, yay me. The house passed an emergency spending measure to support a genocide and ban TikTok, so they were anti-productive, fuck those guys. I hope tiktok doesn't get banned. If they do... I will need your help to grow my Youtube Channel I guess.

Prompt Engineering now begins April 23 as a 6-week class. It's only $50 a week, or $36 a week if you're under-represented in tech.
I made the Prework free if you wanna keep up: Prework Day 1 Prework Day 2
Here's a link if you need to pay weekly instead but it's just a $50 subscription and you have to cancel it at the end of the class. I'll figure out how to handle payment plans easier sometime but for now this is what I have for you.
Complex Adaptive Systems and Game Theory
We'll catch up with the following readings and record our discussion on Tuesday:
Chapter 5 of Plato: Team Reasoning and Conditional Games Part 2 of Finite and Infinite Games (No One Can Play Alone), pages 42-72 in the pdf
Wednesday
Junior Devs @ 11am with Liz: Set Up a NATS server & create an Email sender
We'll deploy NATS and then write a python script that listens on a channel for emails to send
Thursday
Senior Devs @ 11am with Liz: Build an actor-critic agent
We'll build an actor-critic agent attached to a NATS server you will run locally. This agent will take specs of whatever length you want and produce a single python script, then a critic will review the script. All of this will happen over NATS. The goal is to get something you can ship out the door.
Prompt Engineering @ 5pm with Liz - Jailbreaking
In this session we'll write red-team jailbreaking prompts to ensure your benchmarks properly establish your alignment strategy. We'll also share our own jailbreaking research with the group.
