Multiverse School Newsletter - 03/31
🚀 3/31/24 Multiverse School Weekly Newsletter 🚀
Hey Multiverse Crew,
This last week was a wreck, and didn't go according to plan due to some things outside of my control, so I was out on Thursday and Friday and am running a bit behind. I'll be back next week, but on a reduced schedule for the week.
This Week's Classes
Custom GPTs $60 / $40 - Build custom GPT bots that are reusable, create multi-bot conversations, and equip these bots with useful tools.
Job Search Standup - We're Back
Last week was the worst week in Job Search Standup history- I had corporate clients that altered the schedule and I don't think anyone got the memo, then the thing with my mom happened. As a result, you can join this week for free if you've ever paid once.
- If you've never bought a ticket before, Sign up here.
- Let me know here if you got a job, it helps me out and makes me want to keep doing this.
Program Updates
We've dropped prices and opened up scholarship opportunities. Most classes are $20 per session, or $13.33 for under-represented people in tech. I'm working on re-pricing everything in the back-end, but next week's class is fixed.
Scholarship Opportunities
CS Master's Student Fellowship Program - For Master's Students, do a complex, non-trivial project involving cutting edge AI that you can bring some newbies along with to see a really cool thing get made, get a major break on tuition
Executives - Run a cutting edge project at the forefront of AGI and then publish it and help it get monetized. Goal is a financial return on the investment of your time as well as a transformative experience of your leadership practice and is often an emotional breakthrough experience. Ask anyone who has gone through it. Major price break on tuition for the contribution towards a project.
Underrepresented in Tech - There's a special price on every page, self-select into this group please, it's 30% off for you. Please discuss with me- I can only admit so many scholarship students and it will take me time to process your request. We can't do 100% scholarships but we can offer some substantial discounts given a description of your circumstances.
Learn to Code Bootcamp This Summer, Begins June 3rd
Here's the Learn to Code bootcamp. This will be a more structured, code-together program, so if you're looking for that, come hang out.
Artificial Intelligence and Agents Track Kicked Off, Hop In 🐰 or wait for Mid-Summer
Here's the entire track. You will need to know how to code. If you want to know all of this and you don't know how to code, enroll in the Learn to Code Bootcamp as well. If you're going to take all of these classes you may as well sign up for the monthly membership.
This is the part of the track you don't need to learn to code for. We'll probably add more here soon about how to use low-code no-code things.
Complex Adaptive Systems and Game Theory
The First Episode is Live The Second Episode is Live! It's a lot of me talking this time, it's sort of the pre-reading and introduction to the next set of readings.
I don't have the energy to record this week, so we'll pick back up next week.
Storytelling
People have been enthusiastic about the experience! Come rewrite your personal narrative with Francina! This class is included for Multiverse School Students.
**This Week: Cultivating Inspiration and Mindset Resilience
Next Weeks: - Navigating Uncertainty and Iterative Exploration - Collaborative Problem-Solving and Creative Expression
Junior & Senior Devs:
This week we'll begin the April Project Sprint. I won't run Junior/Senior devs this week, because I am a little underwater with everything that's been happening.
This week's goals: - Complete assigned bots & work you pulled into your todos for the week - Observe how I'm not being judged for asking for help / taking the time I need as a human - Ask for the actual space and specific support you need next time it happens to you, & note the results
